SmartDitch
Challenge
Stormwater, runoff, silt, and erosion are examples of the many challenges faced by civil engineers when controlling water flow.
Logistical problems can arise when construction sites are located in remote areas. Common water flow control measures, such as rip rap, become expensive to ship when site locations are in mountains or deep in the wilderness.
