Extrusion

Five in-house co-extrusion sheet lines feature 6-inch diameter main extruder, co-extruder, and three roll upstacks. Because we produce our own sheet, we can minimize product cycle time and ensure maximum product quality and cost-efficiency. Penda also customizes materials to meet each customer's needs. Typical commodity thermoplastics can be run from .020 to .600 inches thickness. All lines utilize 110-inch tooling with 96-inch maximum sheet width. Co-extrusion feedblocks can run A/B, B/A, A/B/A layering profiles. Each line is supported by multiple four-position volumetric blenders, allowing up to four separate materials to be blended into each layer.
