Penda has been manufacturing and selling pickup truck bedliners since 1983. The company's modern era began in 1994, when it split from a parent company of the same name. Over the course of the next decade, Penda Corporation experienced steady growth and diversification. In 2003, Penda Premier Solutions was launched to bring custom thermoformed solutions to manufacturers both within and outside of the automotive market. Penda Corporation is headquartered in Portage, Wisconsin.

Today, Penda has grown to encompass three distinct business units:

• Penda Automotive, the number one manufacturer of pickup truck bedliners, and an innovator in truck products including tonneau covers.
• Penda Premier Solutions, rapidly becoming a key player in custom plastic solutions.
• Penda Water Management, a pioneer in efficient water drainage solutions.
